The Hourglass: On Time, Intention, and Sacred Minutes

A design born from a question

What if time were visible? The hourglass holds a truth we often avoid: minutes are finite, but meaning is not. We sketched with that thought — the grain paths, the glow, the sense of motion.

Symbolism in the details
  • Flowing grains: daily choices gathering into a life.

  • Inner light: time becomes luminous when directed toward what matters.

  • Contour lines: the “vessel” is you — what you choose to hold and pour.

Wearing the hourglass

It’s a small covenant with yourself: to be present, to honour prayer, to focus. Every wear is a reset.

“Every grain of sand is a prayer unspoken.”
